DJS-1 TRIPPING CIRCUIT SUPERVISION RELAY

DJS-1 trip circuit supervision relay can monitor the trip circuits in breaker continuously. It will warn when the following happ

    Disappearance of DC power source.

    Trip coil and its leading wire appear malfunction.

    Malfunction of the auxiliary contact junction of the breaker.

ACTION SCHEMATIC 

    The relay is composed of an auxiliary electromagnetic relay and a RC circuit for delay returns. An emitting LED is concatenated in the coil circuit of the relay. It will light if the trip circuit is in good conditions. (The auxiliary relay is at the operative state.)

When the breaker is “switching on”(see fig.1), There is a circuit include the emitting LED, auxiliary coil of the relay, auxiliary contact of the breaker and the trip coil. If the circuit opens or the DC power source disappears, the auxiliary relay will return after delay time. A warning signal will be given by contact of auxiliary relay.

If the malfunction appears, the DJS-1 relay will be shortening by the trip contact of the protection relay. The breaker will interrupt after its trip time. The auxiliary contact of the breaker will transfer and the trip contact will return. The DJS-1 relay will recover operation through the other auxiliary contact of the breaker.

    Rated voltage: 220V, 110VDC.   Electronic contact form and capacity: As soon as has two pays the transfer contacts and pays moves the break contact; the electronic contact breaking capacity is 220VDC, 0.1A (pf=0.4, L/R=5ms); 220VAC, 3A.  

  Delay time: ≥0.3s.
